Common questions
Questions people ask us.
Q.Are you against private schools, colleges and coaching?
No. Most of them teach honestly, and India could not run without them. We are against money that was never owed — a donation for a seat, a charge outside the fee list, a certificate held back until you pay. And against taking lakhs for a course they never deliver.
Q.Do reports from students and parents change the grade?
Never. We show reports as a number, kept separate from the documents. Grades come only from things anyone can check — government orders, their own fee list or refund policy, court or police papers, and reports in known newspapers.
Q.Why is my school or college not listed?
Because nobody has reported it yet. We do not copy lists from anywhere. A place shows up here when a student or parent reports it, or when we find a public document about it. Not being on this list does not mean a place is clean.
Q.A school and a college follow different rules. How does one site cover both?
The point cuts are the same for everyone — the same mistake costs a village school and a big coaching chain the same points. But the law being applied is different. A school answers to the RTE Act and your state fee law. A college answers to UGC and AICTE. A coaching centre answers to the Education Ministry rules of 2024. Every page says which rule that place is being held to.
